We all have our own unique goals we would like to see ourselves achieve, yet we wrestle with the idea that there simply is not enough time in a day to tackle all that is expected of us, let alone dive into those deep-seated passions that have lied dormant. We can’t physically fit it all into ONE day; however, we can assess and organize our time so that we are better utilizing the time that we have. If you are up for it, I have a challenge for you that will lead you to a more motivated, productive and fulfilling lifestyle.
At some point, some, if not all of us, might find ourselves in a state of autopilot–absentmindedly running through those many functions we know we must complete to avoid certain chaos, but “barely there.” The cost of lingering in that state for too long is greater than one might think. When we live on autopilot, we are unknowingly missing out on those precious, ever-fleeting opportunities to embrace the essence of this very moment with our children.
A post for anyone who feels like they have lost their own identity outside of being a mother. As well as, feeling like you do so much but there doesn’t seem to be anything you do just for the sake of your own enjoyment and aspirations. It’s okay to put your needs in front of certain things like housework; in fact, not neglecting ourselves makes us better mothers and wives.
Our minds are exactly like a fertile garden. We can water seeds of negativity that grow like weeds and starve all around it, or conserve our energy to nourish and bear the fruit of joy, peace, motivation, patience. This post addresses ways to consciously alter our thinking to benefit our overall mental and physical wellbeing.
